Bar Harbor Village Improvement Association
Description:
The Town Clock was presented to the town of Eden (later named Bar Harbor) for its centennial celebration in July 1896 by the Bar Harbor Village Improvement Association. The clock is located on Main St. by the Village Green. The Town Clock is a reminder of earlier times when clocks of its kind were more commonplace. This photo was taken by Kathy MacLeod, who was a Bar Harbor Village Improvement Association Board Member from 2015-2020.

Plein Air Painters of Acadia is a group of plein air painters on Mount Desert Island, painting local scenes. They meet at locations around the area and work side by side. The group began in 2018. The Shore Path scene in the photograph was painted by Linda Rowell Kelley, artist and plein air painter.
